Description
This workshop offers a hands-on, in-depth approach to incorporating public relations in the day-to-day operations of small and mid-size businesses.  Participants will need to respond to a brief survey prior to attending the workshop.  Using an interactive approach, participants will learn and apply the fundamentals of public relations to their company, products and/or services.  A sample company will be utilized as a group learning experience.

Objectives
Participants will:

  • Learn and apply the fundamentals of public relations
  • Explore the digital avenues available for public relations
  • Apply techniques for writing effective public relations copy for both traditional and innovative public relations venues
  • Outline a plan for practical public relations applications for individual participants

Who Should Attend

  •  CEOs and/or communications directors of emerging small and mid-size businesses
  • Existing small and mid-size businesses that have not incorporated public relations in their operations
