Description
What is “public relations” and what value does it have for my business?  One thing is certain, thanks to wireless Internet Services, streaming video, global television stations and advances in mobile phone technology, we have access to all sorts of information 24/7.  What opportunities exist for small and medium size business and how can they take advantage of them without breaking their budgets?  This workshop defines and explores ways that businesses can creatively and successfully manage the flow of information to the public regarding their business operations. 

Objectives
Participants will:

  • Learn the fundamentals of public relations
  • Explore the digital avenues available for public relations
  • Apply techniques for writing effective public relations copy for both traditional and innovative public relations venues
  • Recognize when to seek outside professional help and what to expect
